Los Angeles lending-software company Cloudsquare announced on November 12 that it has shipped the Fall ’24 version of Cloudsquare Broker, a Salesforce-based CRM for brokers who place small business financing. Current users of the product receive the update now, and prospective customers can review it in demos and consultations.

Three areas of change

Notification management. Brokers define triggers for deal milestones without writing code and receive real-time alerts. Cloudsquare’s blog adds that messages can reach sales reps, ISOs or selected teams, and that setup does not require Salesforce expertise.

Lender API file submissions. Every file sent to a lender over an API now shows its own status, so a broker can follow each file individually. Cloudsquare’s blog says a resend can be triggered from inside the CRM.

Workflow. The submission experience is reworked so that teams have more control and move faster.

Submission-channel detail

A Cloudsquare blog post dated November 7 itemizes seven changes to how deals are sent:

  • A setting that copies affiliates or ISOs on a submission.
  • Blue highlighting for the lenders chosen.
  • Renaming and previewing files without leaving the channel.
  • A filter that puts priority lenders first.
  • One-click resubmission when an API or email send fails.
  • The cause of a failed email send, spelled out.
  • Improved offer polling for lenders that lack a webhook-based offer API, designed to stay within Salesforce governor limits.

The vendor’s framing

CEO Jeffrey Morgenstein said customers asked for automation, efficiency and adaptability, and that the release reflects a commitment to “empowering small business lending brokers to maximize their potential.” Cloudsquare presents itself as a full lending platform serving both lenders and brokers.

Why brokers may notice

Cloudsquare aims these changes at two points, file status and failed submissions. The release does not say which lender integrations the per-file status covers, or whether offer polling changes apply to every connected lender.

The release gives no pricing, adoption numbers or list of connected lenders, and every benefit claim above comes from the vendor.
